I did not want another app. I wanted to know where my train actually was.
I am Quentin Aslan, a solo developer. I am currently going from Hanoi to Paris overland, no flights, and Railora started because I kept switching between five different apps just to know if my own train was late, and none of them talked to each other.
I ride long-distance trains a lot, and I am building and shipping Railora from wherever the train happens to be that week. Every feature exists because I needed it myself first.

What is Railora?
A free iOS app that tracks the train you’re actually on: live delays, platform info, and — on trains with onboard Wi-Fi — the train’s real GPS position, updated every second. No account, no ticket booking.
Is Railora free?
Yes — completely free, no account, no paywall. That’s true today in beta, and the plan is for core tracking to stay free after launch too.
Do I need an account?
No. Railora has no sign-up, no email, no password. Just open the app and start logging trips.
What is Onboard Live Mode?
When you’re on a train with onboard Wi-Fi, join that network. Railora connects and shows the train’s real GPS position — updated every second — plus live speed, without draining more battery than keeping a maps app open.
Do you collect my location?
Not your phone’s GPS. The app never asks for location permission. The only GPS you see is the train’s position, read on-device and never sent to a server.
Will you add more countries?
Yes. The goal is every country, every operator, worldwide — one app for every train on the planet. We’re adding networks steadily; no fixed timeline while in beta.
